"I enjoyed my experience in Ukraine. I didn't really feel uncomfortable, probably because the things we did there were similar to what we do here. Also I think it was because we had Zhenya and Sasha here so the language barrier wasn't new.  I enjoyed seeing the kids we know and spending the time with the kids we met. When I was there I think it became more real to me that these kids really don't have anyone and what they've been through. Before I always knew they didn't have family, but it was like a fact I guess; you know it's true but it becomes more real when you see it first-hand. I definitely want to go back to Ukraine. These kids need love and need to hear about Christ, but someone needs to make a move to do that.

Transition Homes/Foster Care In Ukraine

 

The social stigma of an orphan is a challenge to overcome in Ukrainian society.  There is a bleak economic reality facing a young person being released from an orphanage.  Without help, prostitution, crime, drug abuse, and suicide await many of these children.  Without a family or stable support system, they have little hope.  Please join us in our continuing efforts to relieve the pain and suffering of abandoned children.  You can make a difference!

Rainbow of Hope Hosting Program

 

Love Cradle along with individuals, families, and communities join together to facilitate bringing orphaned children to North America for a holiday of care and cultural enrichment. Orphan hearts are forever touched and life-long friendships are made. The length of the program is determined by the orphan hosting committee.

   WARM COAT PROGRAM

As an ongoing part of Love Cradle, we are collecting new and excellent used condition warm coats, mittens, scarves, and ski hats along with new winter shoes. Love Cradle also accepts donations to purchase warm coats & winter shoes as well as much needed hygiene items for young children and teenage boys and girls.
